Hardcore Hacker Wanted … a Tech guru who can just make things happen
This job involves not only being able to code but also being able to do network and database administration tasks for optimization and scalability. You must be very hands-on.
Extremely Important :
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• High proficiency in C/C++, AJAX, XML, DHTML, PHP, Perl, SQL and Regex
• Able to work on all aspects of LAMP
• Must be able to compile open source code with out documentation
• Must be able to change C++ make based projects to IDEs like Eclipse
• Develop Web 2.0 pages in your sleep
Other Requirements
• proficiency in the UNIX/LINUX environment required
• 3-5 years of experience in a Software Development environment
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, have a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work independently when needed
• MySQL Administration , Load-Balancing and basic Unix Administration
• Knowledge about video streaming and FLASH programming a plus
• Amazon EC2 knowledge and system admin skills a plus
Compensation: Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000 based on experience
